Dixville Cemetery Fund
The Dixville Cemetery Fund supports the Dixville Cemetery in Dixville Notch, NH, the final resting place of Neil and Louise Tillotson. The fund provides for maintenance, repair and restoration of gravestones and monuments of historical significance. It also provides for the upkeep and beautification of the cemetery’s grounds, to ensure the cemetery remains a place of peace and aesthetic enjoyment for community members.
Hereford Forest Fund
Forét Hereford in Coaticook, Québec was formerly owned by Neil Tillotson. It was a special place for him — he spent hours walking through the forest and maintained a deep connection to the land. After Neil Tillotson’s death, the land was transferred to community ownership. In 2012, the Hereford Forest Fund (Forét Herford Incorporated Designated Fund) was established to support the long-term management and stewardship of the forest. The fund offsets ongoing operating costs associated with maintaining the land for community uses including sustainable forestry and recreational activities.
The Tillotson Guatemala Fund
The Tillotson Guatemala Fund honors Neil and Louise Tillotson’s long-term commitment to the regions of Guatemala where Tillotson companies operated. The fund aims to support basic needs, sustainable economic development and other charitable activities in the regions of Puerto Barrios, and Retalhuleu, Guatemala. The Tillotson Guatemala Fund is held by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, with programmatic and grantmaking support provided by the International Community Foundation (ICF).
