Christa is the Community Partner for the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund. She works directly with nonprofits to help them navigate the grant application process. Christa has worked in advancement and annual giving for Plymouth State University, and as managing director of the North Country Center for the Arts in Lincoln. She serves on the board of directors of WREN in Bethlehem. Christa is originally from the Midwest, and moved to the North Country following a long ago through-hike of the Appalachian Trail.

Phoebe is the Senior Community Partner for the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund. Her role includes overseeing the Whole Families partnership and partnership with the Community Builders Hub. Phoebe joined the Foundation in 2017. She was a participant in the first Community Practitioners Network cohort, a North Country leadership development program, and worked as outreach coordinator for the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. She has also worked with Outward Bound and the Yosemite Institute in outdoor and experiential education. Phoebe spends her free time hiking, biking and skiing in the White Mountains.

Sonya is the Director for the Tillotson Funds and is responsible for oversight and strategic direction of all eight of the Tillotson Funds. She has been with the Charitable Foundation since 2020. Prior to her role at the Foundation, Sonya worked in international development, with a focus on economic recovery in disaster- and conflict-affected environments. She has more than 25 years’ experience working in the non-profit sector in community development, child and family services, energy and environment, and public education. For fun in the North Country, Sonya swims, hikes, skis, volunteers and participates in community theatre.
