Community Builders Hub
Building trust and belonging in the North Country region.
Relationships, trust and belonging are the foundations of resilient communities.
To help build and strengthen those things across the North Country, the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund helped to launch and is supporting the Community Builders Hub. The Hub is an independent nonprofit that works to connect people to one another and the resources needed to help communities thrive. The Hub is working to equip people with tools and relationships to help them work together to solve problems, meet needs and build on opportunities.
Fund staff work closely with the Community Stewards on events and projects to better understand the aspirations and challenges of people in the region.
The Community Builders Hub is:
- Developing events and projects designed to build community.
Each of three regional Stewards is working with local partners to develop community building events and projects. - Expanding outreach and building networks.
Person-to-person outreach and event-planning partnerships, plus The Hub website and social media are building awareness about community building efforts and opportunities to get involved. - Supporting evaluation and learning.
Ongoing data-gathering and reporting will help us strengthen this work.
